First we need to create the PPPoE Profile with help of NOC and after that we can check that profile has been created or not, We can also check that how many services have been created in this profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Creation of PPPoE Profile in OLT , NIB will create the Service on Tech Portal and Provide the Details.<\/strong>
1. Order ID – With help of order id we can check the service creation status
2. Phone Number
3. User ID
4. VLAN
5. Service Request Number
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During Service Creation we should remember that :- <\/strong>
1. ONT Should be UP in NMS
2. OLT should be reachable in NMS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At GP location The procedure involves basically 2 Stages :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


# Stage1 > From ONT GUI \u2013 Configuring WIFI\/PPPoE service locally on the nominated
GP ONT (you should be at GP site)
# Stage2 > Checking if Internet service is arriving on Local laptop or Desktop PC<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STAGE 1 \u2013 Settings to be done on GP ONT with BBNL \/ BSNL provide
service credentials<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

STEP 1: Power ON Local ONT. Connect to ONT WiFi cloud \/ if using LAN cable use GbE Port num 4.
STEP 2: Open browser and launch the router home page http:\/\/192.168.1.1\/

STEP 3:
On left side menu go to \u201cAdvanced Setup\u201d > \u201cLayer2 Interface\u201d > \u201cGPON WAN Interface
Configuration\u201d page will appear, click button \u201cAdd\u201d > select option \u201cveip0\/veip0\u201d > click
\u201cApply\/Save\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon completion of the steps you should get view as shown below :<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

STEP 5: Click on \u201cWAN Service\u201d > \u201cADD\u201d > Next Screen select \u201cveip0\/veip0\u201d > click \u201cNext<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

STEP 6: Select the \u201cPPPoE\u201d settings as shown, click \u201cNext\u201d : (-1 is default value in equipment, keep it) , In our case put \u201c0\u201d in first drop down and put the VLAN ID which is provided by BSNL in second drop down.
Select the \u201c TPID -0x8100\u201d<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

STEP 7: Select the \u201cPPPoE\u201d settings as shown and click \u201cNext\u201d :
For example in real scenario it can be as below :
\uf0b7 Username : ***********_wid@ftth.bsnl.in (it given by BSNL\/BBNL)
\uf0b7 Password : ******** (provided by bsnl)
\uf0b7 Primary DNS 8.8.8.8
\uf0b7 Secondary DNS 4.4.4.4<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

STEP 8: As shown in below screenshot \u2018highlight in blue\u2019 and just click \u201cNext\u201d :<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

STEP 9 : Make the DNS server entries here and click \u201cNext\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

STEP 10 : You will get a similar screen click \u201cApply\/Save<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

STEP 11 :
You can check here if \u201cInternet service is getting through\u201d
On left menu click under \u201cDevice Info\u201d > \u201cWAN\u201d
\u201dStatus\u201d should show \u201cConnected\u201d It take some minutes to appear connected.
\u201cIPv4 Address\u201d should show \u201ca number\u201d<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

NOTE : After the service creations, if internet is not appearing,<\/h1>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Check if it showing connected or not.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. If it showing Disconnected check the user name is entered correctly or not due any single mistake
    showing Disconnected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. If it showing Connecting status for a long time may be have some Media issue from BSNL side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Check for any optical power issues if PON LED not stable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Sometime PON LED stable just after Wifi Led come up so wait for a 1 min than PON Led blink once.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
